Service Protection with DJI Care Refresh

DJI Care Refresh offers service protection for your device, providing you with two replacement options for damaged equipment within a year for a small additional fee. It covers damages caused by collisions, water contact, and more. In case of damage, your equipment will be replaced with a new or equivalent device. DJI Care Refresh can be activated within 30 days of device activation (first power-on). It also offers an extension option – you can purchase an additional yearly plan (up to two times, for a total of 3 years). Furthermore, the official manufacturer's warranty applies during the service period.

 

DJI Osmo Action

For DJI Osmo Action cameras, the cost of the first replacement under DJI Care Refresh is 149 PLN. The cost of the second replacement is 199 PLN.*

*In the case of direct manufacturer claims, the replacement cost may vary depending on the current exchange rate.

 

Activating DJI Care Refresh

1. The code should be activated at: https://support.dji.com/care/active.
2. During the activation process, enter the Care Refresh code, device serial number (found directly on the product), and activating person's details (name, email address).
3. DJI Care Refresh service will be activated and automatically assigned to the appropriate region. You will receive a confirmation of DJI Care Refresh activation via email. Your equipment is now secured!

 

In Case of Accidents

1. The user reports the malfunction and sends the equipment to the German DJI service with a note indicating possession of DJI Care Refresh.
2. The user receives a repair estimate and decides whether to pay for the repair/replacement or use DJI Care Refresh.
3. Upon selecting the DJI Care Refresh option, the user pays for the replacement and receives a different unit.
4. The replaced product is promptly delivered to the user with free shipping.

 

DJI Care Refresh Does Not Cover

1) Lost or partially lost cameras.
2) Stolen or abandoned products.
3) Additional accessories.
4) Intentional product loss.
5) Cosmetic damages that don't affect the product's functionality.
6) Direct or indirect damages caused by force majeure.
7) Malfunctions occurring outside the DJI Care Refresh validity period.
8) Additional charges related to model improvements or performance enhancements.
9) Damages resulting from non-recommended modifications or the use of incompatible batteries and chargers.
10) Damages arising from using unauthorized accessories, batteries, or software.

 

 

Possibility of Extending Protection*

Users also have the option to extend the protection for up to 3 years. To do so, simply purchase an additional yearly plan.

  • If you have a DJI Care Refresh yearly plan, you can extend the protection 2 more times by purchasing 2 additional yearly plans: yearly plan + yearly plan + yearly plan.
  • If you have a 2-year plan, you can extend the protection once by purchasing an additional yearly plan: 2-year plan + yearly plan.

Note: Extending protection through purchasing an additional 2-year plan is not possible.

Certain conditions must be met for protection extension:

  • Purchase of DJI Care Refresh service in one of the following options: DJI Care Refresh yearly plan / DJI Care Refresh 2-year plan / DJI Care Refresh yearly plan and DJI Care Refresh + / DJI Care Refresh yearly plan and additional yearly plan (renewal).
  • The validity period of the purchased DJI Care Refresh service has not expired or has expired within 15 days.
