HiFiMAN Serenade is a headphone amplifier and DAC that is designed to deliver audiophile-quality sound in any configuration. Serenade supports up to five different signal inputs: USB, coaxial, optical, analog and network. This gives the user complete freedom of choice of audio source, with signal change via a dedicated button on the front panel. In addition, the network input allows music to be streamed directly from NAS devices, significantly increasing the versatility of the equipment.
Sophisticated output control
The device offers three output modes: DAC, H-AMP and P-AMP. In DAC mode, the headphone output is muted, and a fixed-level analog signal is passed through XLR and RCA connectors. H-AMP mode activates the headphone outputs and allows volume control, while P-AMP allows the unit to be used as a preamplifier, increasing its functionality in more advanced audio systems.
