The Freewell Lens Hood for the Fuji XF 23mm F2.8 lens is a functional accessory that combines a lens hood with a magnetic filter system. The design effectively reduces light reflections and protects the front element of the lens from dust, scratches, and accidental impacts. The integrated magnetic holder allows you to quickly change UV, PL, and Glow Mist 1/4 filters without the need for additional adapters. The whole thing is made of CNC-machined aluminum, making the accessory durable, yet lightweight and comfortable for everyday use.
Integrated magnetic filter system
The cover is equipped with a magnetic filter holder that allows for quick and convenient installation and replacement. The set includes three filters: UV, PL, and Glow Mist 1/4, which can be mounted individually as needed. The magnetic mount allows you to quickly change the configuration while shooting, which significantly speeds up work in the field.
Greater control over light and image
The UV filter protects the front element of the lens and reduces the effects of UV radiation, helping to maintain image clarity. The PL polarizing filter reduces glare and improves color saturation, which is especially useful when photographing water, sky, or landscapes. The Glow Mist 1/4 filter gently softens the light and emphasizes the atmosphere of the scene, giving your photos and videos a more cinematic feel.

The filters are made of durable tempered glass, which provides high resistance to damage while maintaining excellent image clarity. The lens hood housing is made of CNC-machined aluminum, which guarantees durability and low weight of the entire set. This combination of materials makes the accessory well-suited for both everyday photography and field work.
Simple and quick installation
Installing the hood is quick and intuitive – simply remove the lens cap and turn the hood clockwise until it is securely attached. If the hood is not perfectly horizontal after installation, it can be adjusted and tightened using the included Allen key. Once attached, the magnetic system allows for instant attachment and removal of filters.
