The NEEWER Q4 400Ws is a portable flash designed for both studio and outdoor photography. It offers 400Ws of power and a high guide number of GN72, making it well-suited for everything from portraits to more demanding product and fashion shoots. The compact housing, weighing approximately 2.24 kg, makes it easy to transport, and the convenient handle allows for comfortable work outside the studio. HSS synchronization up to 1/8000s and a very short flash duration of up to 1/10989s help freeze motion and capture images even in intense daylight.
High-capacity battery and fast continuous shooting
The flash is equipped with a 21.6V lithium battery with a capacity of 2800mAh, which provides approximately 400 full-power flashes. A short recycling time of 0.01 to 1.2 seconds allows for smooth operation during dynamic photo shoots. The ability to shoot in burst mode at up to 20 frames per second makes this model well-suited for sports, event, and reportage photography. An additional advantage is the option to power the flash from the mains using the included adapter.
Precise light control and advanced flash modes
The NEEWER Q4 supports TTL, Manual, and Multi modes, allowing you to easily adapt your workflow to the type of photography. Power adjustment from 1/1 to 1/256 in 0.1-stop increments enables precise flash intensity control. Stroboscopic mode allows for up to 100 flashes at a frequency of up to 199Hz, offering greater possibilities for creative motion shots. The flash also supports first- and second-curtain sync as well as S1 and S2 modes, which facilitate coordination with other light sources.
LED modeling light with natural color rendering
The built-in 30W LED modeling light with a color temperature of 5600K helps you assess the lighting setup before taking the photo. The high CRI of 95+ translates to more natural color rendering, which is important for product and portrait photography. Thanks to the preview of shadows and light direction, it’s easier to set up the scene and reduce the number of test flashes.
Wireless Communication and Wide Compatibility
The model uses the NEEWER 2.4G Q wireless system with a range of up to 100 meters. Support for 32 channels and 5 groups allows for convenient control of a larger lighting setup. The flash can also work with the Godox 2.4G X system in RX COMPAT mode and is compatible with the Sekonic L-858D light meter with the RT-GX module. Compatibility with Canon, Nikon, and Sony cameras facilitates integration with popular photography systems.
Bowens mount and convenient operation
The use of a standard Bowens mount allows you to use popular light modifiers, such as softboxes, reflectors, or beauty dishes, without additional adapters. A built-in fan aids cooling during intensive use, and a dot-matrix display improves the ease of adjusting settings. The manufacturer has also equipped the flash with a USB-C port for software updates, an automatic power-saving feature, and an audible signal indicating readiness for the next flash.
