The UNI-T UT377A is a compact and precise moisture meter designed specifically for measuring the water content of wood, plywood, paper and other wood-based materials. The device classifies wood according to four density categories and automatically compensates for the effect of ambient temperature, allowing for reliable results under all conditions. The UT377A is a reliable tool for woodworkers, furniture makers, renovation teams and enthusiasts of woodworking.
Tailored to different types of wood
The meter recognizes four main types of wood, corresponding to the 28 most commonly used species, allowing the measurement to be matched to the type of material. This way, the user avoids errors associated with different wood densities and obtains more precise readings. Automatic temperature compensation further increases the reliability of the measurement, regardless of the operating conditions.
Intuitive operation and easy-to-read display
The clear LCD display with backlighting presents results at a refresh rate of 0.5-second intervals, while MAX/MIN modes and a Data Hold function allow the user to retain the most important measurements. The UT377A automatically adjusts the measurement range and shuts off when finished, which saves power. A low battery indicator reminds you to replace the battery, ensuring uninterrupted operation.
Rugged and field-ready
Thanks to its compact housing and resistance to a drop from a height of 1 meter, the UT377A will work well both in the workshop and on the construction site. Powered by three AAA batteries, it can be used for hours without recharging. It's the perfect tool for anyone who needs fast and precise measurement.
